After her first year on staff as a writer and photographer, senior Audrey Seo now spends her time as The Accolade‘s newest photo editor. Seo has received multiple awards from the Journalism Education Association for her photos depicting life during the pandemic.

When Seo isn’t taking pictures at a football game, you can find her listening to movie soundtracks or completing challenges on Duolingo.

New principal Craig Weinreich, who replaces Allen Whitten, has a conversation on his first day on the job with seniors Lindsay Bridges and Samantha Perez in the quad on April 13. Weinreich said he plans to continue Whitten’s policy of talking with students during break and lunch in order to be accessible with students.

Sunny Hills High School interim principal Cathy Gach works in her office on Jan. 21 in Room 4. Gach, who replaces Allen Whitten upon his promotion to the district office last month, was hired January 2014 for the same position after former SH principal Judy Fancher left mid-school year. The retired administrator officially started her first day on Jan. 5 after the Fullerton Joint Union High School District school board approved the hire during an emergency meeting.
