We’ve already written a few game recaps —

Game Recaps

The Lancers boys cross country team -- the only SH squad with enough athletes in attendance to compete -- defeated the runners from Buena Park High School by a three-point margin.

The Lancers’ No. 1 singles player, sophomore Owen Taylor, serves during a 6-2 victory over El Dorado’s No. 1 singles player, Nathan Chung. Taylor would win one of his two sets en route to a 14-4 Sunny Hills victory over the Golden Hawks on March 1.

She then advanced to the 2019 CIF-SS Division 3 finals, where Yee also broke the Sunny Hills record for the 200-yard medley relay alongside her teammates and contributed to her team’s second-place victory.

Wearing his No. 9 Lancer football jersey, linebacker and then-junior Carson Irons gets ready for the next offensive series during a Nov. 15, 2019, game against Notre Dame of Riverside in a California Interscholastic Federation-Southern Section Division 8 quarterfinals matchup. After racking up 186 tackles, two sacks and an interception last season, Irons has committed to play Division 1 football for Princeton University in New Jersey.

Then-sophomore Katie Cho swims toward the finish line in the 2019 Division 3 California Interscholastic Federation [CIF] finals for the women’s 100-yard Butterfly held at Riverside City college in Riverside. Cho set three Sunny Hills records for the varsity swim team.
