About the Contributors
Kyuwon Han, Spotlight Team Reporter
Sophomore Kyuwon Han joins The Accolade as a Spotlight team reporter after a thrilling year in Journalism 1. As a cub reporter her previous year, Han won a Best of SNO award for her Sports feature story. She looks forward to writing stories for the new Spotlight magazine and bringing diverse voices to the community.
Outside of The Accolade, Han is part of different clubs such as the American Red Cross, California Scholarship Federation and UNICEF as a cabinet member. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, drawing and watching movies.
Serenity Li, Copy Editor
Fresh with knowledge from the Journalism 1 class, junior Serenity Li is excited for her first year on staff at The Accolade for the 2024-2025 school year. Li hopes to use her skills as a copy editor to improve the quality of the newsmagazine issues as well as The Accolade’s online stories.
Li is taking several honors and Advanced Placement classes in her junior year. She enjoys studying different languages such as Mandarin Chinese, American Sign Language and Dutch.
