Class of 1968 reunion committee member Jim Gronwall adds glue Thursday, March 9, to the inspirational message plaque that will be attached to the center of the black and yellow bench underneath the “Class of 1968” engraving. The bench in front of the library and the plaque are among the nearly $10,000 in outdoor furniture that school officials purchased using money raised by the ‘68 reunion group.

Some Class of 1968 members return to their alma mater to check out the modernized look of the campus, including the giant “S” and “H” in the center of the quad stage. The group of five alumni plan to host a fundraiser starting on Dec. 1 with the hopes of donating benches for students around the campus.
