Fullerton Joint Union High School District officials agree to allow livestock back on Sunny Hills farm

Livestock like this pig remained on the Sunny Hills farm as of April 10 after live classroom instruction ended nearly a month before because of the coronavirus pandemic. Ag students were coming to the farm one at a time to take care of their animals to prep them for the Orange County Fair, which was eventually canceled because of COVID-19 health and safety concerns. After that, Fullerton Joint Union High School District officials decided to have all the animals removed.

Four FFA students take second place in state virtual fruit tree judging contest

The four Future Farmers of America team members were in Fresno March 12 to look at some of the fruit trees in person and get some practice before their March 13 competition in Yuba City, which was canceled because of the novel coronavirus pandemic. That eventually led to the creation of a virtual event over the summer.
