To help low-income families who cannot afford internet access at home for students, Charter Communications has been offering 60-day free WiFi service. This was in response to several California schools decisions to close campuses to students because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many teachers now instruct remotely from home using Google Meet or Zoom.
