After a year in the Journalism 1 class, junior Lauren Kang excitedly steps into her role as co-Sports editor for The Accolade. Kang hopes to continue to gain more experience by writing stories and reading over her peers’ pieces. She also looks forward to contributing positively to the publication and improving her writing in the process.

Outside of The Accolade, she spends her time volunteering for elementary students, listening to music and watching TV.
