Alice Chae, Social Media Team & Staff Reporter
After completing the Journalism 1 class, sophomore Alice Chae looks forward to contributing to The Accolade as a staff reporter and member of the social media team. She hopes to improve her writing skills and make new connections with her peers through The Accolade.
Outside of The Accolade, Chae enjoys playing tennis, listening to music and going out with her friends. She also likes to volunteer in her community and participate in club activities.
Lauren Kang, Sports Editor
After a year in the Journalism 1 class, junior Lauren Kang excitedly steps into her role as co-Sports editor for The Accolade. Kang hopes to continue to gain more experience by writing stories and reading over her peers’ pieces. She also looks forward to contributing positively to the publication and improving her writing in the process.
Outside of The Accolade, she spends her time volunteering for elementary students, listening to music and watching TV.
