Coaches: Mike Schade (head coach), Jordan Brinkley (varsity assistant coach), Eduardo Echeverria (head JV coach), Anthony Flores (head frosh-soph coach), Owen Miller (assistant coach JV and FS)

Top returning players: Arnold Beltran (12), Sam Johnson (12), Dylan Lee (12), Chris Loera (12), Richard Orihuela (12), Brandon Toledo (12)

Outlook: The boys soccer team pushes for the title of Freeway League Champions after ending last season in third place. The boys set their sights on the CIF-Southern Section Division 2 playoffs.

“I expect our team to understand that our performance in every game must be [its] best, as every game will be a championship game in our heads,” Schade said.

The boys have been practicing several days a week since their loss to Arlington in the 2019 CIF playoffs last season.

“We practice every week, Monday through Thursday, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.” center midfielder junior Donovan Fichtelberg said. “This year will be the year to prove we can win everything.”

During practices, the boys go through different drills.

“We hope to become the hardest working team in America each and every day,” Schade said.
