Nathaniel Covarrubias

Nathaniel Covarrubias, Illustrator

Senior Nathaniel Covarrubias started off as a contributing artist creating comics for The Accolade during his freshman and sophomore years. He officially joined The Accolade in his junior year and worked to create many artworks for people to enjoy. As a senior, Covarrubias will continue as an illustrator and hopefully enjoy his last year of high school.

Outside of The Accolade, Covarrubias will continue to make gains on the cross country and track and field team. Additionally, he is a volunteer at the One Love Animal Sanctuary, a student at the Ryman Arts studio art program, a cabinet member of the Chinese Club and more. He hopes to see The Accolade expand its use of editorial art while also supporting the works of his fellow illustrators.
