PROPOSAL CONTEST

Wednesday, Oct. 8

Submission to win two free tickets to the dance for the most-voted couple opened on the Associated Student Body [ASB]’s Instagram (@shhs.proposals). Voting took place on Thursday, Oct. 30.

CLASS HALLS

Sunday, Oct. 26

For the first time in SH history, each grade is assigned a character: Robin for the freshmen, Harley Quinn for the sophomores, Joker for the juniors and Batman for the seniors. Dance battle participants divide by their class to create posters and fill their halls to showcase their school spirit.

DANCE BATTLE PRACTICE

Wednesday, Oct. 29

A new addition to SH tradition, all grades are performing a class-choreographed dance at the homecoming assembly and halftime show on Thursday, Oct. 30, which will be judged and placed to earn Battle of the Classes points for their team. Practices have been held throughout October in preparation for the competition.

HOMECOMING ASSEMBLY

Thursday, Oct. 30

During second period, the new Winston the Lancer mascot made its first appearance at the homecoming assembly. Games, videos and class dance performances led the Lancers into the homecoming game.

HOMECOMING FOOTBALL GAME

Thursday, Oct. 30

With each grade wearing their class colors, the Lancers competed against Kennedy High School. Each class performed its showcase for the last time, and ASB announced 2025’s homecoming queen and king during halftime.
