Serving as The Accolade’s photographer for the 2023-2024 school year, Sue Kang is greatly looking forward to working for an award-winning paper. She hopes to contribute to The Accolade by producing high-quality photos that will enhance the reader's experience. Kang looks forward to covering all kinds of events and hopes to continuously improve her photography skills.
Aside from taking pictures, Kang plays on the girls volleyball team and spends time on her extracurricular activities, such as piano. During her free time, she enjoys watching shows and going out with her friends.
After taking Journalism 1 in the 2021-2022 school year, junior Asaph Li joins The Accolade as a photographer. Throughout his year in Journalism 1, he achieved fourth place at the Southern California Journalism Education Association write-offs and third place at the California Press Women High School Communications Contest in photography. Li hopes to continue to hone his skills as a photographer by branching out to a wider range of photography such as sports.Outside of The Accolade, Li enjoys reading manga, playing video games and chilling in Room 138.
Looking forward to another year photographing for The Accolade, junior Noah Lee hopes to uphold a great experience for readers through quality images.When Lee is not taking photos, he likes to spend his time reading and watching all sorts of media.
