About the Contributor
Elisa Arias, Graphics Editor
After serving as an illustrator for the first two years of staff, senior Elisa Arias ends her high school chapter returning as one of The Accolade’s graphics editors. Arias plans to guide her fellow illustrators to push their creativity skills to the next level, to help guide them to satisfy the reader’s and writers’ eyes in addition of challenging herself during the process.
Outside of The Accolade, she represents the Lady Lancers as being a part of the Sunny Hills girls varsity soccer, positioned as a goalkeeper, and, for the first time this year, Sunny Hills girls flag football. Arias is also a part of the SH Advancement Via Individual Determination [AVID] program, returning in her fourth year as one of the AVID cabinets to guide the underclassmen in the program. Additionally, Arias is a proud member of the National Society of High School Scholars and plans to serve her country in the Navy after college. She hopes to bring success in this year’s news to her fellow students and staff members in an artistic way.
