About the Contributors
Chloe Kang, Photo Editor
Junior Chloe Kang spent her sophomore year as a photographer for The Accolade. This year, she returns as the photo editor and is looking forward to working with new staff and her new opportunities. During her first year on staff as a sophomore, Kang placed second in the Orange County Journalism Education Association competition for photography.
Outside of The Accolade, Kang enjoys playing volleyball and drawing. This year, she hopes that students will spend more time appreciating the art done for The Accolade and wants to see more people taking an interest in the stories.
Asaph Li, Assistant Photo Editor
After taking Journalism 1 in the 2021-2022 school year, junior Asaph Li joins The Accolade as a photographer. Throughout his year in Journalism 1, he achieved fourth place at the Southern California Journalism Education Association write-offs and third place at the California Press Women High School Communications Contest in photography. Li hopes to continue to hone his skills as a photographer by branching out to a wider range of photography such as sports.
Outside of The Accolade, Li enjoys reading manga, playing video games and chilling in Room 138.
Noah Lee, Photo Editor
Looking forward to his final year photographing for The Accolade, senior Noah Lee hopes to uphold a great experience for readers through quality images, telling the story of campus events with action and emotion.
When Lee is not taking photos, he likes to spend his time reading and watching all sorts of media.
