About the Contributors
Summer Sueki, Photographer
After being a contributor for The Accolade in the 2021-2022 school year by taking pictures at various sports events, senior Summer Sueki joins the award-winning paper as a photographer. Outside of photography, Sueki plays for the girls varsity volleyball team, loves playing with her dog, Charlie and enjoys drinking boba. She looks forward to covering more of the Lancers’ fun events this year.
Chloe Kang, Photo Editor
Junior Chloe Kang spent her sophomore year as a photographer for The Accolade. This year, she returns as the photo editor and is looking forward to working with new staff and her new opportunities. During her first year on staff as a sophomore, Kang placed second in the Orange County Journalism Education Association competition for photography.
Outside of The Accolade, Kang enjoys playing volleyball and drawing. This year, she hopes that students will spend more time appreciating the art done for The Accolade and wants to see more people taking an interest in the stories.
Sheila Neri, Photographer
Senior Sheila Neri joined Journalism 1 in the 2021-2022 school year, a new start for her next journey in life. Now taking the position as a photographer on the 2022-2023 Accolade staff, Neri hopes to depict the love she has for the world through the lens of her camera. As she plans her future in photography, she hopes to learn about other aspects of journalism through The Accolade.
