After a year of experience as a photographer during the 2021-2022 school year, senior Rebekah Kim takes on the position of photo editor in The Accolade. Kim plans to broaden her photography skills and collaborate with her photo team.

Apart from being on staff, Kim participates in various clubs and extracurriculars including the National Honor Society and Dance 3. She has also received Rotary Top 100 awards and Lancer Awards. Kim enjoys playing the guitar and going to the beach with her friends.

The quote reads, “Education Is The Passport To The Future Tomorrow Belongs To Those Who Prepare For Today.” Rawlins and nine other graduates from the Class of 1968 reunion committee met on the SH campus to glue nine inspirational quotes on the new benches and tables school officials had purchased through the groups $10,000 donation last summer.

Construction for the new golf training facility, located in between the tennis courts and the junior varsity baseball field, began on Nov. 29. The site, which costs roughly $50,000, will feature 11 hitting bays. Though school officials could not provide a completion date, golf head coach Scott Enrico said he hopes it’ll be ready to use in the 2022-2023 school year.
